ANANTA iOS Release Info: App Store Status, Devices, and Controller Support

Source-first ANANTA iOS release tracker covering App Store status, iPhone and iPad compatibility, controller support, download size, and cross-save.

NetEase has confirmed ANANTA for mobile platforms, but ANANTA Codex does not currently treat a separate iOS release date, App Store listing, iPhone/iPad requirement, or controller support detail as confirmed until first-party sources publish it.

This iOS page exists because App Store metadata usually answers questions that a general “mobile release” announcement cannot: device compatibility, app size, privacy labels, age rating, controller tags, and regional availability.

For the full mobile overview, use ANANTA mobile release info. For all platforms together, see ANANTA release date and platforms.

What an App Store listing should confirm

When an official listing appears, record the publisher name, region availability, age rating, supported languages, device compatibility text, app size, privacy labels, controller support labels, and update date. Store metadata can vary by region, so region-specific notes should be dated clearly.

The most important signal is not simply “ANANTA on iOS.” A useful listing should tell players whether the game supports iPhone only, iPad as well, newer chips only, external controllers, and account-linking with PC or other platforms.

iPhone and iPad compatibility questions

Open-world mobile games can list broad compatibility while still performing very differently across devices. After an official listing or public build appears, ANANTA Codex will separate three layers of compatibility:

  1. Can install — the App Store allows the device to download the game.
  2. Can launch — the game opens, logs in, and completes initial downloads.
  3. Plays comfortably — city traversal, combat, camera movement, and loading remain stable over longer sessions.

That distinction matters for older iPhones and iPads. A game may technically install but run with aggressive graphics cuts, heat, battery drain, or frame pacing issues.

Performance details to test after launch

Once there is a public iOS build, this page will test and record:

  • Graphics presets and whether they differ by device.
  • Frame-rate options and stability during fast traversal.
  • Heat and battery behavior during 20–30 minute sessions.
  • Initial download size versus post-login asset download size.
  • Touch-control customization and UI scaling on smaller screens.
  • iPad layout quality and whether the game uses the larger screen well.
  • Controller support, button prompts, and menu navigation.

Those tests should be dated because mobile performance can change quickly after patches.

Controller support and touch controls

Controller support is currently TBA. For an action-heavy open-world game, iOS controller support would affect comfort, accessibility, and whether some players prefer iPad or external display setups.

When confirmed, we will document whether ANANTA supports Backbone-style controllers, Xbox/PlayStation Bluetooth controllers, button remapping, vibration, camera sensitivity, and mixed touch/controller input. If controller support is absent or partial, touch layout customization becomes more important.

App Store safety advice

Before launch, avoid “iOS beta” profiles, configuration files, or download instructions that ask you to install from random links. iOS scams often use fake TestFlight pages, copied logos, or profiles that request unnecessary permissions.

A safe iOS source should be one of these:

  • A direct App Store page linked by official ANANTA/NetEase channels.
  • A real TestFlight invite referenced by official beta communication.
  • An official website page that clearly names the publisher and redirects to Apple-controlled infrastructure.

ANANTA Codex will not distribute profiles, IPA files, or unofficial beta links.

Cross-save questions for iOS players

If ANANTA supports cross-save, iOS players should know whether progress, purchases, pre-registration rewards, and platform-specific bonuses move between iOS, Android, PC, and PS5. Those rules affect whether you should start on mobile or wait for your preferred platform.

Until official account-linking rules are available, do not assume that guest accounts, Apple ID login, publisher accounts, and social logins all behave the same way. The crossplay and cross-save tracker will collect those details once confirmed.
